Senior E-commerce Analyst

As a Senior E-Commerce Analyst on our Consumer Insights team, you will analyze our web and transactional data, draw insights from analysis, and partner cross-functionally to influence decision-making across Warby Parker. You’ll use web-user behavior to influence and support our product management team (and other stakeholders) in product design and prioritization. Additionally, you’ll work closely with our Home Try-On Manager to develop insights that will influence decisions across the Home Try-On program. You’ll report to our Director of Consumer Insights—and will regularly be sharing insights and analysis with our senior leadership team, along with our co-CEOs.

What you’ll do:

  • Empower stakeholders and decision makers across the organization with timely and accurate data and insights about our e-commerce business and user behavior on warbyparker.com
  • Answer strategic business questions and influence the product management process through ad-hoc analysis using Google Analytics, weblogs, and transactional data—turning analysis into insight and insight into test ideas and feature suggestions
  • Collaborate closely with business owners from several departments to design, implement, analyze and communicate the results of A/B tests on warbyparker.com
  • Partner with our consumer insights manager to map the customer journey both on and offline
  • Develop compelling reports to track key website and Home Try-On metrics on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis—and then share with the Warby Parker management team
  • Monitor site performance and measure the impact of site changes on key conversion metrics
  • Ensure strong data governance, documentation, and communication of analyses and methodologies

Who you are:

  • Equipped with 4-6 years of experience in a highly analytical role translating numbers to stories (experience at a consumer web company is preferred)
  • An expert analyst with strong knowledge of SQL, statistics, customer behavior analysis, and experimental design
  • Experience with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics/Website Optimizer, Adobe Analytics, Coremetrics, Optimizely, etc.)
  • Naturally curious, seeks out understanding by diving deep into the data
  • An excellent communicator who loves to share findings and actionable insights
  • Collaborative and excited to work with many different teams
