Senior Financial Analyst

Intersection is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance team. This is a great opportunity to be at the forefront of technology and to join an exciting new firm bringing innovation to urban cityscape.

The Role:
Reporting to the Head of Corporate Planning, the Senior Financial Analyst will provide planning and analysis support to the Intersection business lines. In addition, the candidate will support our work as a managing member of CityBridge, a consortium of leading companies in their fields bringing the world’s fastest public Wi-Fi and cutting edge media to New York City via LinkNYC.

Key Relationships:
The focus of the role is to provide support to the Finance team and business units by providing evaluations/analyses on new business opportunities and ad hoc analysis of the existing business.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Support Senior Executives w/ various financial and business analyses, including: 
  • Building financial models and scenario analyses on existing contracts and for new business development activities 
  • Interfacing with business leads on model assumptions, mechanics, and presentations 
  • Participating in drafting bid packages for RFPs 
  • Developing other ad hoc financial and business analyses as required 
  • Competitive analysis 

Required Experience:

  • Top tier investment banking, consulting or other financial modelling work experience required 
  • Proven knowledge of financial analysis techniques 
  • Demonstrated ability to construct strong, detailed financial models 
  • Verbal and written presentation skills and experience presenting analyses to senior team members 
  • Technology and/or media sector knowledge / interest a strong plus 
  • Must have outstanding verbal and written skills 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Powerpoint

Education: A Bachelor’s degree from a top tier university
