Lyft is hiring an experienced Senior Financial Analyst for its Rideshare Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team. This is a unique opportunity to play a crucial role in helping build a financial foundation for a rapidly growing, recently public company. We are building a team with people who want to build, improve, and partner with multiple disciplines across the business.
Responsibilities:
- Directly support Revenue Operations to maintain marketplace balance by providing world-class analysis, forecasting, and reporting as the subject matter expert on rider growth
- Serve as finance partner for data science, product, engineering, sales operations, and accounting teams across Rideshare to provide a finance perspective for short-term and long-term rider growth strategy; along with supporting a fast growing Lyft Business program
- Develop sustainable financial data management/sourcing practices for rider growth expenses to enable our team and business partners to move fast
- Build and maintain models to inform investment prioritization efforts through planning cycles
- Prepare and own periodic financial business reviews, highlighting key areas of focus
- Own the monthly & quarter-end close process end-to-end for rider incentives, flagging any potential issues/risks through timely variance analysis
- Maintain a deep understanding of our financial processes and refine/standardize them across broader FP&A organization to scale with the growth of the company
- Develop from the ground-up robust and scalable processes to inform forecasts and track performance
Experience:
- BA/BS with 4+ years of experience in financial planning and analytics in a fast-moving environment or related work experience
- Forward-thinking, analytical and problem-solving mindset, drawn to “making it happen”
- Expert in Excel, experience building complex formulas and manipulating large data sets
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment with minimal supervision
- Detail oriented and highly organized self starter with a drive to dig into complex problems
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to communicate proactively and influence effectively across various departments
- A drive to understand the core issues along with determination to uncover the solution
- Experience with SQL and planning tools such as Anaplan is a bonus (not required)

The expected range of pay for this position in the US is $107,010 - $145,000. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location. Range is not inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus or benefits.
