Position Overview:
We're looking for a talented Senior Growth Marketing Manager to drive adoption and revenue for our advanced text-to-speech and voice agent products. Play.AI is a well funded leader in the space, with exceptional organically driven growth, but we need more. We’re looking for a talented and motivated individual with strong experience in driving PLG and enterprise growth motions. You will own optimization and reporting on the end-to-end funnel for both developers and business users, including the website, and any relevant acquisition channels, ensuring that they can find Play AI’s products, understand their value, sign up and grow into successful paying customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Traffic Acquisition
Develop, prioritize and test strategies and channels to acquire ML engineers and developers to our platform
Oversee and report on funnel performance of all traffic sources (paid, social, organic, email), directly manage paid media in conjunction with agency
Onboarding Funnel Optimization
Analyze, report on, continually improve the website and developer onboarding experience
Implement A/B testing to maximize conversion rates at each funnel stage
Reduce friction points in API key acquisition and initial implementation
Identify and report on content (docs, articles, code, tutorials) that drive core KPIs
Developer Success and Retention
Design programs to drive API usage and showcase advanced features
Create case studies highlighting successful integrations and use cases
Conversion to Paid Plans
Develop strategies to convert free tier users to paying customers
Identify in-funnel high value prospects for handover to sales
Implement in-product messaging and upgrade paths
Metrics and Analysis
Define and track KPIs for the entire developer journey, reporting to leadership
Conduct cohort analysis to understand long-term user behavior
Requirements:
5+ years of growth marketing or product experience, with developer-focused products
Strong technical background. You understand the developer mindset
Proven track record of driving user acquisition and revenue growth for technical products
Experience with funnel optimization, A/B testing, and data-driven decision making
Excellent analytical skills, proficiency with relevant tools (e.g., SQL, analytics platforms)
Outstanding communication skills, able to bridge technical and business concepts
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; MBA a plus
Preferred Qualifications:
Hands-on coding experience or ability to write and understand code samples
Experience with voice agents, text-to-speech, modern LLM capabilities and pain points
