Job Summary:
Ruggable’s People Team is growing and looking to add a Senior Human Resources Business Partner (Sr. HRBP) to our team! As our Sr. HRBP, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the organization's workforce and ensuring a productive and compliant work environment. You will collaborate closely with leadership and employees to foster a positive workplace culture while contributing to the achievement of strategic business objectives. In this multifaceted role, you will play a crucial role in aligning People strategies with an organization's overall business objectives. Responsibilities go beyond traditional HR functions and encompass strategic, consultative, and advisory roles.
What You’ll Do:
Workforce Planning
- Participate in organizational development and workforce planning discussions
- Support Department leaders in analyzing current and future talent needs and help develop strategies to address skill gaps and succession planning
- Develop and execute comprehensive job architecture framework from the ground up, including evaluation of all positions and creation of organized job families and defined levels within the company's structure
- Collaborate with Department leaders to standardize job roles
Employee Relations
- Handle complex employee relations issues, including disputes, disciplinary actions, and grievances
- Provide coaching and guidance to managers on employee performance and development
Change Management
- Help employees and leaders navigate transitions and ensure that changes are implemented smoothly
- Assist in managing organizational change, including expansions, restructuring, and other major initiatives
Employee Development
- Assist Department Leaders to identify high-potential employees and work on their career development plans
- Collaborate with the Learning and Development team to create training and development programs that enhance employee skills and knowledge
HR Policy & Compliance
- Collaborate with the People Systems and Operations team to ensure that HR policies and practices comply with local, state, and federal laws
- Conduct regular audits to ensure department adherence to HR policies and requirements
- Collaborate with the Learning and Development team to develop and deliver training programs to educate employees and managers on policy compliance
Consultation & Advisory
- Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and managers on HR-related matters
- Provide guidance on HR best practices and help solve complex HR challenges
What You’ll Need to Have:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of proven experience as an HRBP or in a similar HR role, with a focus on workforce planning, employee relations, and compliance
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and data analysis tools
- Strong project management skills
- Collaborative and proactive mindset
- Demonstrated commitment to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace
- Ability to be onsite, in LA, in a hybrid capacity
Preferred:
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or similar HR certification
Compensation:
- $110,000 - $120,000 per year base salary
- An annual bonus percentage that varies based on level of role
- Employer matching (up to 3% of base salary) for company sponsored 401K plan
