Play an instrumental role of ensuring a seamless transition of Airware’s platform into enterprise customer environments, by owning the architecture of Airware’s training program which will be delivered across customers, partners, and internal employees alike.  In this role, you will develop engaging curriculum to enable users to become expert operators of Airware's Platform, encompassing hardware, software, and cloud services. This role will leverage your expertise in adult learning principles and a variety of learning approaches such as, instructor led learning, immersive linear and non-linear e-learning design, specialized visual models and graphics, learner skill and knowledge tests, narration scripting, and sound recording and integration.  

Sample projects

  • Design and deliver training courses on Airware’s product stack to internal and external customers, including end users, project managers, IT professionals, drone operators and system administrators across all levels of the organization.
  • Research, test and translate application information into training materials; conduct interviews with product developers, flight operations  and technical staff to gather content for documentation.
  • Design and develop training curriculum and materials for clients, partners, and employees using appropriate instructional design concepts and adult learning methodology and multiple channels (i.e. CBT, WBT, Instructor-led).

Necessary Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years experience in developing curriculum around software products.
  • Extensive experience conducting Train the Trainer sessions.
  • Strong Multimedia/eLearning Development skills including HTML, Captivate, SnagIt, Presenter (Breeze), PhotoShop, Visio, Flash etc.
  • Experience with SCORM and other technical standards for e-learning software products
  • Experience utilizing a variety of instructional design concepts, methodologies, and standards (i.e. CBT, WBT, Instructor-led)
  • Experience developing and executing certification programs.

Beneficial Skills and Experience

  • Experience with gaining  acceptance of programs for continuing education credits (such as CPE) from external agencies
  • Previously built content for aerospace/military/UAV
  • Advanced degree in Adult Learning/Instructional Design preferred
