Senior iOS Developer

Elo is looking for an experienced, full-time Senior iOS Developer to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will lead the development of Elo's iOS application and have a proven track record of producing uncompromised user experiences.

Responsibilities

• Have technical responsibility for Elo Health's iOS application
• Develop and maintain mobile software applications
• Collaborate with multiple international teams, including design, product, and engineering teams
• Design and iterate solutions and features to support Elo member facing use cases
• Triage issues and resolve them

Requirements

• Must have Bachelor's degree in a related field in computer science
• Must have iOS development experience for a minimum of 5 years
• Must have experience with Swift and Objective-C

Bonus experiences and skills

• Prior work with APIs / GraphQL
• Experience with Apple Health
• Proficient with collaborative software tools, like Git, Github, JIRA
• Familiarity with CI/CD software and processes
• Competency in a code review process to promote good programming practices and quality
• Passion for high user experience and design

Elo operates as a virtual company selling Smart Nutrition products in the US. Our core engineering hub is located in Europe.

HOW WE HIRE

We want to get to know you, hear about your interests, and understand your future goals. We don’t ask gotcha-style questions or conduct cognitive tests. Our interview process is simple:

1. Introductory Call: First, you’ll have a 45-minute Zoom call with Tapio, our Co-Founder and CTO. The goal of the conversation is to get to know each other and explore whether this role could be a good mutual fit. You’ll learn about Elo, the team and have a chance to ask questions. If we’re both excited to continue, we’ll schedule a second call.
2. Take-Home Assignment: Next, you’ll have a take-home assignment to test your skills in engineering aligned with our requirements. We may end up scheduling additional chats with the team at this point if necessary!
3. Skills Conversations: Third, you’ll have a session with our Engineering Team. The goal of these conversations is to understand your experience, your preferred work style and dive deeper into the role requirements.
4. Chat with our Founders + reference check: Finally, you will have a 45-minute conversation with our Founders, Tapio and Ari. If we think you’re the right candidate, we’ll talk to at least two people you’ve worked with before to understand your work style and ensure this mutual fit for everyone.
