As Senior Program Manager in IT, you will own the end-to-end delivery of strategic programs that are critical to enabling GitHub’s continued growth. You will join a small group of highly skilled and experienced program, project and product managers focused on solving internal problems across GitHub. You will partner with IT leadership to drive operational excellence in support of GitHub’s continued growth, spanning strategic planning and operational improvements across the organization.
As the right candidate, you have a proven track-record delivering business and technology transformation programs in a fast-paced environment, along with the ability to articulate program vision, unite a cross-functional team, deliver against accelerated timelines, educate partners on agile practices, and proactively flag and mitigate risks.
You also have an executive presence, are analytical and data-driven, and a strategic thinker who builds relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners/vendors. You are calm under pressure, clearly set expectations, and are results-driven. You exercise excellent judgment based on a deep understanding of GitHub’s culture and strategic objectives.

Minimum salary of $104,400 to maximum $276,900
In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee's role.
These pay ranges are intended to cover roles based across the United States. An individual's base pay depends on various factors including geographical location and review of experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant. At GitHub certain roles are eligible for benefits and additional rewards, including annual bonus and stock. These rewards are allocated based on individual impact in role.
Location: In this role, you can work remotely from anywhere in the United States.
