Senior Key Accounts Manager

Overview:

As Senior Key Account Manager, the main objective is to support the Senior Director in the relationship management and optimization of some of Agoda’s most valued hotel chain partnerships

In doing so, this individual will bring a strong analytical acumen, or business development knowledge. In addition, the capability to establish and develop good working relationships with both internal and external customers will be a key to the success of the role. A ‘make it happen’ personality, disciplined work habits, and attention to detail will be keys to success in this role. 

Responsibilities will include: (1) support the achievement of key accounts goals (2) optimizing chain hotel offerings on Agoda (3) handle incoming enquiries from stakeholders both internal and external (4) identify new opportunities for operational efficiency.

 Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that key accounts are exceeded as planned
  • Ensure the competitiveness of products from chain partners on Agoda
  • Provide support for internal and external stakeholders for technical enquiries
  • Implementation of enhancements to improve hotel performance
  • Internal communication of best practices and knowledge
  • Work with chain partners to further their business objectives in line with the overall strategic objectives of Agoda
  • Monthly and weekly reporting and analysis
  • Share relevant data and information with partners to ensure a high level of communication and feedback to optimize performance.
  • Work with Key Account Manager to plan and executive new property roll outs and content enhancement
  • Occasional communication of new initiative to key accounts contacts 
  • Handle rate and technical enquiries from internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or equivalent degree
  • Prior experience working in hospitality, e-commerce,  travel industry, airlines or tourism sector a must
  • 2 + years’ experience in leading large commercial account management conversations and, therefore, the ability to communicate a value proposition to potential partners at all levels is key
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Builds great relationships with colleagues and partners, alike
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Past success in mentoring and building organizations that cater to long term customer relationships
  • Energetic and driven personality
  • Adapts well to and is energized by change

  • Excellent communication skills and fluent in English
