About This Role

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Site Reliability Engineer who thrives in small, focused and highly collaborative teams. As a member of the Engineering team, your peers will develop the next generation of prop-tech in Japan, while your role will be to ensure the stability and availability of these services for our members. Strong communication skills and a desire for excellence are a must. Exceptional problem-solving skills, creative thinking and adeptly handling ambiguity are all skills that we value.

Technical Requirements

  • Proven, hands-on experience architecting and supporting complex AWS infrastructures

  • Expert knowledge of the AWS platform, including EC2, RDS, S3, ElastiCache, Elastic Beanstalk, Route 53 and Lambda

  • Strong experience with Docker and deploying containerized applications

  • Experience with developing CI/CD solutions for large organizations

  • Ability to analyze and improve efficiency, reliability, and scalability of the platform

  • Proficiency in one or more scripting languages such as Bash, Python, Ruby or similar

  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Go, Java, C++ or similar.

  • BA/BS in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience

Non-technical requirements

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Fluent in English

  • Japanese language abilities a plus
