We are looking for a digital first marketing leader to lead our Social Media, Earned Media and Content vertical within our Brand Marketing Team.
Ideal person should have good understanding of the below -
Owned Media - Setting up and scaling “User-first” and “Engaging” Social Media handles for the brand and managing teams + external agencies to drive community growth and engagement across Instagram, Facebook, Youtube and Snapchat.
Earned Media - Ideal person should have planned and executed end to end brand marketing campaigns driving earned media for the brand. The person should be adept with the process of identifying the right moments for brand to have a Point of View, scout for the bold creative idea that can make the brand talked about. And be able to put a combination of internal and external partners together to bring the campaign to life. Past work experience in this and Industry leading Awards will be highly preferred.
Brand Management - Person should have a strong experience working in cross functional teams and ability to influence key stakeholders with data driven and insightful point of view. Should be comfortable with identifying consumer/business insights from qualitative and quantitative internal or external. Develop briefs on these insights and 360 develop campaigns end to end.
Content Marketing - Person should have experience in setting up content ecosystems and partnerships for the brand. Past experience with Youtube longform, shortform and content collaborations will be preferred.
Understanding of e-commerce ecosystem and tier- 2/3 consumers is a big bonus. Should be a go getter with a sharp focus on driving impactful ideas across the branding efforts and ability to present a coherent view of the impact of all Brand building efforts.
What you will do:
- Build Meesho Social 2.0 - Our Dream is to become the most engaged brand in India on our chosen channels. The key metrics this team owns is absolute engagement per month and earned media reach in spike campaigns.
- Leading the Instagram, Youtube and Influencer Team : Lead a team of 4-5 marketing managers, assistant managers and associates. This team is responsible for leading our owned media content, social calendar, collaborations and earned media spike campaigns.
- Campaign Design & Execution: Work with cross-functional team (Internal-partners) creative & social media and content agency (External-partners) to design & develop marketing campaigns for both offline & online medium. Track the efficiency & effectiveness of the campaigns and report as and when required.
- Brand Guidelines Adherence: Be a custodian of the brand in the market by making sure all marketing campaigns and activities are aligned to the brand proposition and defined guidelines. Track the progress of the brand on key equity parameters on a regular basis through brand health monitor

- Data and Research Orientation: Familiarity with brand & campaign research methodologies & approaches.
- Deep Understanding of Social Media and Content - Expertise in social media and content landscape, metrics and strategies.
- Creative Appreciation: Ability to write clear & actionable creative briefs & evaluate the output of creative development process based on the brief.
- Planning & Execution Skills: Ability to plan for multiple parallel streams of work & error-free on time execution. Strong stakeholder management skills to keep both internal & external stakeholders on the same page.

What you must have:
- Minimum 4 years of proven working experience in Brand / Social Media / ContentHave built / scaled content and social media channels for a brand / content house
- A growth mind-set & strong sense of ownership
- Enthusiasm for brand-building & exposure to brand health metrics preferred
- Be comfortable with both creative & business dimensions of marketing
- Data-driven thinking
- Outstanding Communication Skills with strong stakeholder management ability
- Up to date with latest industry trends & marketing best practices
- Degree in marketing or a related field
