BlueVine is looking to hire a rockstar Senior Manager of Business Development to source, develop and launch high-impact strategic partnerships for the company. As a member of the Strategic Partnerships team, you will help drive the company’s growth strategy by expanding our network of enterprise partners that drive substantial customer acquisition and go-to-market differentiation.

The ideal candidate has a strong track-record of sourcing, negotiating and launching Strategic Partnership deals. Success in this role requires entrepreneurial instincts, superb communication skills, and a natural ability to drive complicated deals to close. This role requires a substantial amount of outbound outreach; sales discipline is a must-have.


  • Identify, source and close high-impact Strategic Partnerships for BlueVine
  • Quickly size partnership opportunities and their strategic and commercial value
  • Own the end-to-end partner sales cycle, building momentum through the close
  • Build a robust business development pipeline across multiple verticals by engaging with key stakeholders at target prospects to explore joint opportunity & fit with BlueVine Structure, negotiate and execute complex commercial terms with a high degree of autonomy
  • Create, test and refine your partner value proposition & pitch
  • Develop learnings from outreach efforts, and incorporate into your go-to-market approach
  • Ensure successful launch of new partners, in collaboration with Partner Management and Go-to-Market Teams
  • Lead cross-functional teams in deployment of new partnerships, including creative, marketing, sales, legal, and product
  • Collaborate with BD Team members to develop new, scalable partnership channels in and work cross-functionally with stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, and Product Management, R&D)


  • Proactive business thinkers with experience building a pipeline of high-impact growth partners
  • Ability to clearly articulate a potential partner value prop, test it, and inspire executive confidence and sponsorship around the opportunity
  • Track record of successfully closing & launching complex strategic partnerships
  • Collaborative mentality and ability to get buy in from internal & external stakeholders
  • Creative thinker who also has a history of hustling to deliver outcomes
  • Strong executive presence and stellar communication skills
  • Highly entrepreneurial and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to thrive under minimal guidance 7+ years experience in business development, strategic partnerships and/or management consulting; experience in FinTech a plus
  • BA/BS required, MBA preferred but not required
