Senior Manager/Director, Business Operations

NextEV is seeking a Senior Manager/Director, Business Operations and Strategy to manage executive review and global operational cadence.  Responsibilities include operational plans and coordination across engineering, design, finance, legal, and market development teams.  He/She will develop a deep knowledge of interdepartmental dependencies and be responsible for implementing processes and resolving issues cross functionally as they arise.   He/She will enjoy “rolling up his/her sleeves” to make an impact and deliver results resourcefully. This position reports to the VP, Business and Corporate Development
Specific Responsibilities:
Structure planning for operational and strategic initiatives by gathering and synthesizing relevant data, assisting with business and financial analyses and developing final recommendations.  Translate ideas and strategies into actionable plans and results.
Plan and manage Executive Business Reviews and long range planning across global cross-functional teams. 
Manage operational cadence for senior management and the broader organization. 
Help manage communications within the team and from the team on key initiatives. Help ensure stakeholder alignment. 
Work with the company's senior executive leadership to define, launch, and drive strategic and operational initiatives.
Define and track key performance metrics including financial targets to ensure the company meets overall profitability goals
Proactively advising internal stakeholders of financial, operational and strategic implications of upcoming decisions
Responsible for managing Executive Briefings for potential customers and partners

Experience and Skills:
MBA preferred.
Bachelor degree in a management, technical or engineering field.
8+ years of work experience in consulting, automotive, software, consumer Internet, IoT industries and/or early stage companies.  
Experience at top strategy consulting firms strongly preferred.
Experience leading complex operational and strategic initiatives.
Proven track record of performance in a strategy & operations role or comparable experience in product management, business strategy, product operations, strategy/corporate development at a leading high-tech company, or technology-focused firm. 
Strong business and financial acumen.  Robust analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills with the ability to deliver on detail as well as strategy.
Distinctive problem-solving and analysis skills, combined with impeccable business judgment.
Superior ability to present to executives and communicate with highly technical management team.
Excellent executive presence with strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively and develop effective working relationships with all levels of management; able to effectively engage with both technical and business executives.
Capable of managing a diverse range of responsibilities in a dynamic and results oriented environment. 
Must be comfortable with evolving requirements and priorities.
Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
