Senior Manager, Regional Sales (EMEA)

Bring your knowledge & passion to healthcare with SOPHiA GENETICS as our new Senior Manager, Regional Sales for Germany and Europe.

You can be based anywhere in the German territory. This is a field role, with 50-75% Travel.

Fluency in German is critical to engage with your customer - As an international organisation English is our primary business language and not all our colleagues in your hiring journey will speak German. Please share your profile in English for successful review.

Your mission:

Reporting into the MD Sales EMEA you will be a contributing manager, responsible for leading and supporting sales colleagues across Europe, whilst directly driving sales activity within the German markets.

You will have autonomy for your territory, with the enablement and partnership from our customer success, service and support teams.

You join us as we define and focus our team into Sales, Customer Success, SME and Sales Operations, meaning you will have more time to focus on what is important for you – Prospecting, Pitching and winning new business.

NB: We are additionally looking for a non-managing direct contributor in Germany if that is more aligned with your experience.

  • Prospecting, Pitching and driving Business Development.
  • Identifying and closing opportunities with new organisations.
  • Drive consistent momentum in sales cycles and maintain a healthy sales pipeline
  • Collaborate with Customer Success to ensure effective, customer-focused onboarding
  • Advise the company and guide product management on market & product requirements


The experience you bring

  • 5+ Years of consultative sales experience, able to understand customer need and articulate product offering to match
  • Previous experience directly leading or managing a team in a sales environment is critical
  • Experience of either: Selling NGS or Genomics products into Lab environments (preferred) or experience of selling clinical products into hospital / healthcare systems
  • A true hunter mindset - hungry to see consistent growth, with a proven track record of success
  • You don't need previous product knowledge within Genetics, Diagnostics or similar Health Analytics, but you must be hungry to learn about the subject matter.
  • You will need to be able to travel across your territory to a minimum of 50%, and be fluent in both German and English
