We’re looking for a smart, creative, and highly organized Senior Marketing Manager for Events. Not only will you help Omada make a big impression (and impact) at major, existing national conferences, but you’ll also lead the concepting and execution of “micro events”; a series of smaller, regional events, hosted by Omada, for a select group of VIPs.

For the national conferences, you’ll ensure our booth is unmistakably intriguing and engaging—no one would dare walk past it without stopping in to learn more. You’ll make certain that we have extraordinary content and collateral to share, and that every sales person in attendance knows exactly which attendees they should be connecting with and why. You’ll also help plan some additional breakfasts, dinners, or even fun, brand-appropriate outings in and around major conferences, so that our team has the chance to connect one-on-one with key prospects in an even more memorable way. It will be absolutely critical that you can juggle this conceptual thinking with the world-class attention to detail and administrative rigor needed to pull these events off without a hitch.

For the micro-events, you’ll help identify the key target accounts/people with whom we’d like to connect. Then, working with our sales and marketing team, you’ll build a concept for a really interesting day of learning and networking in cities or regions with the greatest concentration of these key targets. These micro-events will include great information about Omada, sure, but will also include unexpected or hard-to-miss guests/speakers that help push conversations about innovation in healthcare forward. Imagine designing something more akin to a TEDx conference, for instance, to help encourage our most important prospects to expand their horizons and get to know us just a little bit more. You’ll organize guest lists, speakers, venues, and overall event design, and ensure the events are so fascinating and formidable that few turn down a chance to attend.

For this role, we need someone who is extremely detail oriented, strategic, and organized. You will have a highly visible role that works cross-functionally with our sales, brand/marketing, and executive teams to maximize the outcomes of every single event Omada attends (and decide which ones we really ought to skip).

Your impact:

  • Drive and manage all responsibilities for industry tradeshows and other corporate events from start to finish
  • Create and manage project timelines; ensure deliverables and milestones are met and act as the primary point of contact for all events
  • Ensure all team members have visibility into the planning process and status of events through shared docs or project management tools
  • Assemble and manage event budgets
  • Maximize our event presence by planning pre and post-show marketing activities, on-site meetings, booth setup, etc. 
  • Analyze events for effectiveness, by providing results and ROI
  • Handle all show logistics such as event contracts and booth materials shipping
  • Support event collateral requests including development, printing and shipping

You will be successful in this job if you have:

  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience planning tradeshows and events
  • Proven track record of managing multiple events simultaneously with success.
  • Ability to be creative, efficient and productive with minimal supervision or guidance
  • Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
