We are looking for a marketing professional that can balance strategic thinking with tactical execution. This position will be responsible for defining and executing the UK marketing strategy for the Search and Staffing segment of LinkedIn Talent Solutions.

 

You will be a passionate and experienced Senior Marketing Manager with a strong background in Technology Services/Software and/or a Recruitment Company, building a large, loyal and engaged customer base and actively supporting the sales team through lead generation activities.

 

This is a very hands-on role and the successful candidate would need to establish credibility with the sales team and marketing organization through their marketing expertise, industry knowledge, communication skills as well as leadership and vision.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead the Marketing function for Search and Staffing in the UK (Enterprise and Global Account Managers)
  • Define the overall demand generation strategy and go-to-market plan for the Enterprise segment to meet lead, touches and revenue goals
  • Manage a portfolio of inbound and outbound marketing programs along the marketing and sales funnel and the customer life-cycle
  • Align with sales executives, product management, business intelligence to establish priorities and plans
  • Enable the field teams to best sell by providing appropriate sales collateral, tools, promotions, and insights
  • Leverage marketing automation platforms (Eloqua) and CRM systems (Salesforce.com) to track and optimize campaign effectiveness and lead performance

 

Basic Qualifications:

 

  • BA/BS degree in marketing or related field
  • Experience in digital and social marketing

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

 

  • MA or MBA degree in marketing or related field
  • Demonstrated knowledge of all aspects of enterprise marketing including in-depth expertise of buyer and customer lifecycle management, e.g. segmentation and targeting, demand gen, nurturing, retention, upsell, performance tracking and predictive analytics
  • Solid project management and communications skills that can bring together people to achieve great things in a matrix, international environment
  • Deep understanding of the market environment and ability to glean key quantitative and qualitative insights from customer interaction and data analysis that will be built into marketing campaigns
  • Strategic agility, passion and drive. Proven innovation and creativity in marketing program development
  • Experience with Salesforce.com and Eloqua
  • Experience leading and influencing cross-functional teams
  • Expert knowledge of MS Office, Photoshop and basic HTML
  • Solid understanding of digital and social media landscapes, marketing automation systems and data integrations
  • Excellent communication, marketing analytics, project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to quickly understand complex issues and develop/apply simplifying frameworks to facilitate a broader organizational understanding, decision-making and action
  • Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks and work within deadlines
  • Recognized team player, keen on corporate alignment and clearly defined objectives
