Position Overview

As a member of the Aclima team, you’ll be joining a growing group of designers, engineers, and scientists. We are looking for an experienced mechanical engineer who would love to get their hands dirty, building networked devices, complex systems, and next-generation sensors. You will be asked to design and develop components to interface with Aclima products and systems (using injection molding, sheet metal, casting, CNC, finishing, etc.). Comfort using Solidworks preferred. Enthusiasm and collaborative spirit required.

Qualifications

Ideally you have...

  • 5-8 years of hands-on experience.
  • taken multiple projects from requirements through production.
  • designed for manufacture and assembly, especially for high volume or consumer products.
  • simulation and FEA experience.
  • comfort with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing/documentation.
  • an analytical approach to problem solving, self-motivation with demonstrated sense of commitment, strong organizational skills, excellent communication, team building, and collaborative skills across cross-functional areas.
  • legal authority to work in the United States.
