Senior Mobile Software Engineer - Android

As a Senior Mobile Software Engineer you will collaborate with product, design and other engineers to formulate and implement solutions to various needs and requirements. We work in an iterative fashion to always have a shippable product that can instantly add incremental value to our users. We value code quality and high confidence around our releases. Besides this, you will be also involved in other engineers' technical growth by following their progress in the career path, providing feedback, and evaluating team members' performance. This mentorship also implies that you will be involved in the definition of that career along with other more experienced engineers and that you will be a decision-maker helper about really important things in relation to the team.

We use Kotlin and Java best practices to build our native Android applications. We also try to build things in a reusable and maintainable way by default.


  • 3+ years experience building native Android applications in Java or Kotlin.
  • Experience with frameworks like OkHttp, Retrofit, Bugsnag, Jetpack libraries, Room, Gson, Picasso, Firebase, Google Play services, among others.
  • Experience consuming remote web services using Retrofit and OkHttp
  • Experience with design patterns and industry trends
  • Understanding that great code is also maintainable code. You care about making sure your code is well tested.
  • A results-driven, self-starter with great communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience using Espresso and Mockito for testing.
  • Knowledge of Model–view–viewmodel software architectural pattern.
  • Fluent at reading and speaking English.


  • Experience working with Tools such as: Firebase (remote confi y TestLab), Sentry, Bugsnag.
  • Experience shipping one or more Android apps to Google Play.
  • Experience building mobile apps on other platforms.
  • Experience with continuous delivery on mobile, including code review, continuous.
  • integration, automation and functional testing.
  • Experience with iOS development.
  • Experience with analytics and tracking solutions such as Google Analytics.
  • Experience with Agile methodology.
  • Keen eye for user interface design and Android interface design principles.
