Job Description:

Dynamo Technologies is hiring for a Senior OPC Acquisition Specialist, who will provide support in the Obtain Phase of the Acquisition Lifecycle and provide the specific Surface Program teams with day-to-day administration of routine and daily deliverables. This role will optimize the balance between operational effectiveness and lifecycle costs, while maintaining enough flexibility to allow for advances in technology to be readily incorporated into the cutter’s design. Responsibilities include:

Duties/ Responsibilities 

  • Acquisition program management support activities including preparation, coordination, and development of acquisition briefs, documentation, reports, analyses, and other deliverables as required.
  • Create, manage and update PMO databases, trackers, spreadsheets, reports, and other items as required. Develop, update, and track program schedules and events.
  • Administrative activities including coordination of meetings/events, managing internal PMO processes, tracking program deliverables, and assisting other activities as required to support the daily operation of a PMO.
  • Risk management activities including conducting risk analyses, maintaining a risk register, coordinating meetings with stakeholders, and facilitating the risk management process.
  • Configuration management activities including supporting configuration management processes, meetings, and processing engineering change proposals
  • Logistics management activities including GFP/GFI tracking, development of logistic artifacts.
  • Financial management activities including developing, tracking, forecasting, and maintaining program budget documentation and reports, supporting financial processes and funding obligations, and coordinating with other USCG financial stakeholders.
  • Test and evaluation management activities including preparation, coordination, and execution of test and evaluation events, meetings, artifacts, and documents.
  • Systems engineering activities including preparation, coordination, and execution of technical reviews, meetings, artifacts, and documents.
  • Program Protection and Cybersecurity activities support including preparation, coordination, and execution of events, meetings, artifacts, and documents.

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Proficient with MS Office products specifically Access, Project, Excel.
  • PMI® certification (Program Management Professional (PgMP)® or Project Management Professional (PMP)®) OR documented completion of all requirements for a DHS/DAWIA PM Level III certification.
  • Experience leading and executing on USCG or DOD acquisition requirements.
  • Acquisition cost analysis and financial experience
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills related to financial, schedule, and engineering data.
  • Client relationship management experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Management and leadership skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and keep work organized.
  • Personable and able to work with individuals at all levels.
  • US Citizenship required

Nice to Have Skills

  • Master's Degree

Education and Experience:

  • 15 years of experience supporting large Government acquisitions (DHS/USCG Level I, DoD ACAT I or equivalent) in a program management role.
  • Bachelor’s Degree

Travel Requirement:

  • It is anticipated that support may require travel both in the Continental United States (CONUS) and outside the Continental United States (OCONUS).
  • Telework, Remote Work, and compressed schedule options may be approved between each Government PMO’s deputy Program Manager (dPM) and each PMO Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR).
