SafetyCulture is hiring a

Senior People Partner

Sydney, Australia
Full-Time
Reimagine HR: We're building a future where exceptional teams drive exceptional results. This demands a proactive approach. We value your past experiences, but this is about shaping new solutions, not recycling old ones.

As a People Partner, you have the opportunity to be a true Multiplier. Someone who performs at a high level and influences the behaviours of those around you. You'll work hand-in-hand with leaders to build a culture where everyone performs at their best, takes ownership, and grows beyond expectations. Your success isn't just about developing great leaders; it's about enabling those leaders to become Multipliers themselves, who in turn, own and drive the development of their teams.

You're a coach, not a fixer. By guiding leaders to own their team's challenges, you're not just solving problems; you're building their capability to delegate, trust, and hold their teams accountable — creating a ripple effect of empowered, high-performing teams.

Your Impact

  • Develop strong leaders: Collaborate with leaders to deliver targeted development opportunities and coach them to set clear expectations, drive high performance, and address underperformance directly.
  • Create learning experiences: Design onboarding and development experiences that help new leaders quickly integrate and deliver impact.
  • Lead high-impact projects: Design programs, share insights, and build systems and processes that reflect our culture and boost performance.

What 'Great' looks like

  • Strategic Partnership: Understand the business metrics and coach leaders to achieve their goals. Proactively identify challenges, drive solutions, and ensure recommendations align with the company's financial goals.
  • Leadership Development: Focus on building leadership capability at all levels. Equip leaders to have necessary conversations when expectations aren't met. Advocate for and challenge decisions around reward, recognition, and performance.
  • Collaboration: Work across teams to deliver results. Challenge assumptions and step outside your comfort zone to find the best solutions.
  • Talent Acquisition Partnership: Partner with business units and leaders to solve critical business challenges through talent acquisition. Proactively identify the core challenges each role must address and define the ideal candidate profile.
  • Innovate and Simplify: Design high-impact programs and build simple, high-impact systems and processes. Focus on speed and efficiency.
  • Ruthless Prioritisation: Prioritise ruthlessly to keep pace with ambitious goals. Focus on solving the problems that matter most and delivering projects that create the most value.

What you'll bring

  • Strategic thinker: You can see the big picture, connect the dots, and come up with solutions that make a real difference.
  • Forward-thinking: You're always looking for new and better ways to do things, and you're excited about building something amazing.
  • Resilient and adaptable: You thrive in a fast-paced environment and bounce back from challenges stronger than ever.A multiplier: You inspire and elevate those around you, helping to build a high-performance culture where everyone thrives.
  • All rounder: You’re a true generalist at heart; you’re not wedded to “tasks” and “specialisations”. You’re motivated by variety and seize opportunities to broaden your impact.
