Asana is looking for a Product Designer to join our Core Experience team in New York City. If you love visual and interaction design and have a passion for working on features that impact the entire Asana experience, then this role is for you.
In this role, you will focus on crafting best-in-class tools for the visualization of work over time no matter what level of complexity. At its simplest, this could be a single project tracking its roadmap. At its most complex it could be the intersection of multiple projects or workstreams and their interconnecting dependencies. You’ll be the customer's voice as we endeavour to make this complexity easy to manage. You will collaborate with Engineering, Product, Experience Research, Data Science, and business partners to build compelling dependency management experiences. You will solve problems with cross-functional partners in collaborative teams, that enable designers to do their best work. As part of a product-driven and design-led company, you'll play a key role in a team of Product Designers owning core product development from inception to iteration and post-launch reflection. As the designer on this team, you’ll be working on features that impact almost every surface area of our product. You will develop a system and strategy for how our customers can model the information that’s in their heads, into data that powers core features like projects, workflows, resource management and portfolios. You will collaborate with design systems and many other teams throughout the company to influence the direction of how data powers views and features across Asana. This is vital to the future success of Asana, especially as our customers grow in scale: the more work they put into Asana, the more critical it becomes to capture their information in a clear and consistent way across their organization.
This role is based in our New York City office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. Along with most Asanas, you’ll work from this office in person on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Our comprehensive compensation package plays a big part in how we recognize you for the impact you have on our path to achieving our mission. We believe that compensation should be reflective of the value you create relative to the market value of your role. To ensure pay is fair and not impacted by biases, we're committed to looking at market value which is why we check ourselves and conduct a yearly pay equity audit.
For this role, the estimated base salary range is between $182,000 - $232,000. The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process. The listed range above is a guideline, and the base salary range for this role may be modified.
In addition to base salary, your compensation package may include additional components such as equity, sales incentive pay (for most sales roles), and benefits.
