Senior Product Manager - AI/Data

We are currently looking for a talented Product Manager to join us on our amazing mission.

The Product Manager will be responsible for the development and delivery of our market-leading and cutting-edge data and AI products. This role will report to the VP Product and serve as an integral part of the Product Team, owning the day to day success of the Digital Surgery’s Data & AI propositions.

Responsibilities

Management

  • Manage the day-to-day execution of our data and AI product activities, for the purpose of meeting our business and product goals, and exceeding customers’ expectations
  • Provide robust management and oversight of:
    • Ensuring our customers receive fantastic products
    • The development of our data & AI products, coordinating, managing and carefully choreographing rapid and complex product development. This includes being the central lead in a diverse and highly capable team of engineers, software developers, clinicians, AI scientists and hardware experts
    • The optimisation of resources within the team in order to meet our objectives and deliver against our timelines
    • The product life cycle from ideation stage, to roadmap, to market specifications, technical and product specifications to building requirements, working with product marketing and commercial colleagues
    • User engagement - ensuring we constantly listen to our customers and the market, and making our customers feel valued
    • User metrics and feedback
    • User value and making decisions on how to provide increasing value
  • Build tight working relationships and rapport across the business; promoting internally data and analytics, and encouraging and motivating teams
  • Ensuring our customers receive fantastic products
  • The development of our data & AI products, coordinating, managing and carefully choreographing rapid and complex product development. This includes being the central lead in a diverse and highly capable team of engineers, software developers, clinicians, AI scientists and hardware experts
  • The optimisation of resources within the team in order to meet our objectives and deliver against our timelines

Support

  • Support the VP of Product, and CPO, to maintain and implement the right process and strategies that cover product vision, product strategy, product design, product development, and product marketing
  • Provide necessary framework for evaluating our product portfolio and investment decisions, as well as our performance against our KPIs.

Reporting

  • Execute against the data & AI product, development and delivery roadmap
  • Maintain methodologies and procedures for conducting research, design conceptualization, prototyping, product development and product/features impacts across our data and AI products
  • Present to the business’s stakeholders reporting on various aspects of the product’s development and execution, across data and AI
  • Present to customers on progress, new product development, and options, as and when required, becoming an ambassador for Digital Surgery at all levels

General

  • Conduct other duties as is deemed necessary to effectively perform the role or as is directed by the business’ stakeholders

Requirements

  • +5 years experience in Product Management in an established, tech-driven company
  • Degree or significant experience in product management
  • Experience in the product management of data, AI or advanced software products
  • Experience working directly with customers
  • Ability to effectively communicate, motivate, and inspire cross-functional teams with professionalism and clarity
  • Being detail oriented and having the ability to conceptualize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects with ease
  • Ability to deliver against set objectives while operating on some occasions towards tight deadlines
  • Experience dealing with shifting priorities and issues inherent to a fast growth company
  • Ability to efficiently interact with the Senior Management Team
  • Bonus: demonstrated experience in dealing with medtech issues on an international basis. Understanding of the North American and European landscape with knowledge of the Asian market would be an additional plus
