About the Team
The Outreach Integrations and Extensibility team is on a mission to help customers efficiently create a sales pipeline and close more deals by enabling them to bring their unique workflows and data to the Outreach platform and turning them into action. The team, part of the enterprise and developer group, owns data integration platform, Outreach APIs, client extensibility platform, and tooling to create, install, and manage the lifecycle of integrations.
The Role
You will build a scalable Outreach API ecosystem for customers and developers to extend Outreach to deliver value to our end users. Over time, as we extend our support for developer SDKs, you will help build a thriving partner ecosystem to deliver on a “first of its kind” marketplace for the Outreach platform.
Location
While we are remote-friendly, we remain an "office-centric" company.
Your Daily Adventures Will Include
- Own the vision and strategy for Outreach APIs and extensibility platform. Conduct frequent customer, market, and competitive research to steer the strategy
- Define, maintain, and prioritize our roadmap around APIs and Extensibility to serve our end users with the next best action to improve sales execution
- Define, build and launch features in collaboration with design, engineering, and other cross-functional teams
- Work with partners in internal sales, onboarding success, customer success and technical success teams to ensure the extensibility strategy and roadmap caters to the needs of our customers
- Own instrumentation, monitoring, analysis and reporting of our public APIs and client SDK usage
Our Vision of You
- 5+ years of experience building great products, including responsibilities driving prioritization, trade-offs, timelines and go-to-market
- Strong technical aptitude; deeply familiar with modern application development and hyper-focused on data
- Have prior experience in building external APIs and webhooks to connect with external systems
- Deeply analytical, high EQ, curious and process oriented
- Skilled at rapidly assessing a product landscape and synthesizing highest priority opportunities
- Ability to define long-term business strategy, and drive impact on short-term product goals
- Self-starter that thrives in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment with the demonstrated capacity to lead, motivate and work well with others
- Deep understanding of customer needs, and strong motivation to tackle their problems
- Demonstrated technical proficiency and effectiveness working closely with engineers
- Strong skills around cross-functional collaboration, influence, and communication
- Ability to achieve clarity and drive focus in complex domains
- Strong analytical abilities and prior experience with building business cases, data analysis, and problem-solving
- Prior experience building, managing, and maintaining a product line in a related GTM motion in B2B/SaaS application stack is preferred
- Experience in an API-centric and platform extensibility environment preferred
- Bachelor’s degree; MBA or related graduate degree preferred
- Previous experience with enterprise customers and building enterprise scale solutions is preferred
