Senior Sales Trainer (Onboarding Programs) (Hybrid, London Office)

As a Senior Sales Trainer for Restaurant Sales & Services at OpenTable, your primary responsibility will be providing comprehensive training programs to AEs and SDRs focused on sales skills, sales process, customer experience, and standard methodologies to positively influence sales KPIs. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the success of team members by equipping them with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in their roles.

In this role, you will:

  • Design comprehensive onboarding program designed to integrate and empower new sales employees.
  • Build trust and credibility with leadership in order to align learning needs with business challenges and company priorities.
  • Deliver scalable enablement programs that positively impact employee productivity and achieve desired business outcomes.
  • Deliver high quality training experiences, applying ground breaking adult-learning techniques and tools to engage learners and enhance knowledge / skill retention.
  • Confidently and effectively facilitate and present programs while keeping audiences engaged and delivering a clear and memorable message.
  • Maintain current knowledge of the latest industry trends, tools and insights, incorporating them into training programs.
  • Adapt training techniques to accommodate diverse learning styles, skill levels, and cultural backgrounds within the audience; Ability to seamlessly adjust execution between in-person vs. virtual learner cohorts.
  • Execute work-plans through strong program management skills, including managing breakthroughs, meeting deliverables, prioritization, knowing who to keep informed, why and how often, and knowing when to escalate.
  • Develop and analyze success metrics to measure impact and improve learning programs and outcomes; continuously assess delivery process improvement opportunities.
  • Contribute strong peer leadership to guide trainers on the team, using your senior experience and skills to encourage and motivate them toward excellence in execution.
  • Maintain an expert level of understanding of all products and services that OpenTable offers.

Please apply if:

  • 8 yrs+ of relevant experience including corporate learning experience, in a mid to large sized company.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Human Resources, Learning & Development, OD)
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional training programs, preferably in sales, customer support, and onboarding fields.
  • Experience designing and delivering innovative learning programs with measurable business results.
  • Exceptional communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
  • Excellence in using impactful training methods and technologies to create engaging learning experiences.
  • Experience in analyzing data to inform decisions, including an advanced ability to understand and communicate key financial metrics of a business
  • Strong familiarity with modern learning and development platforms and tools.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work both independently and collaboratively with excellence, including an ability to perform well under pressure and against aggressive goals and deadlines
  • Keen attention to detail and the ability to analyze training effectiveness, making decisions driven by data insight
  • Experience in using Salesforce and other key sales enablement tools
  • Multi-lingual highly desired (Spanish, French Canadian)
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% to support global training initiatives
