Position Description

Classy is growing the Engineering team and is looking for software engineers of all types. Everything is built on open source (Linux, PHP, Laravel, MySQL, MongoDB) and cloud platforms. Come join us in doing what you love to do, while making a dent in the world of philanthropy.

The Senior Salesforce Engineer has the primary responsibility for developing a series of packages built on that integrates the Classy platform and its data with Salesforce.  This position will participate in software and interface projects, in addition to defining requirements for developing interfaces in a well-architected software development environment.  The successful candidate will also be expected to have a strong background in the full suite of technologies, as well as the ability to analyze and resolve integration problems, effectively communicate issues and resolutions, and use and apply standard principles, theories and concepts of computer design.

About You

  • BS in Computer Science or related field preferred
  • Experience using technologies, including Apex, VisualForce, Canvas, and Lightning components
  • Experience utilizing Salesforce APIs (SOAP/REST) and HTTP web callouts
  • Knowledge of building Salesforce applications with respect to governor limits on a multi-tenant platform
  • Experience with JavaScript, JSON and frameworks such as Angular/Backbone on
  • Ability to work directly on enterprise customer projects to provide "solutions architecture" advice
  • Comfortable with a fast paced startup environment and tight deadlines
  • A passion for making this world a better place

Compensation will be competitive and commensurate with experience, including equity in an early stage startup backed by top-tier VCs.
