Senior Security Operations Engineer

Would you like to do this on a daily basis?

• Act as team engineering Subject Matter Expert and escalation point to support all efforts related to ZeroFOX’s security posture for most security matters across the enterprise
• Serve as primary engineer for application production security, including backlog execution, source code review, secure architecture review, and SSDLC training
• Serve as primary engineer for enterprise incident response, including developing playbooks, running incidents, and ensuring RCA
• Serve as primary engineer for annual testing initiatives (BC, DR, IR, pen test)
• Triage and resolve security alerts from internal systems
• Assist with conducting internal security assessments, prioritizing any gaps, and developing and implementing prioritized remediation plans
• Conduct security reviews of enterprise applications, third parties, and proposed architecture
• Assist with monitoring and reporting of enterprise security posture 
• Assist with ensuring continuous compliance with standards such as NIST, SOC2, etc.

Do you have the right stuff?

• Strong technical acumen and prior experience as it relates to information security, specifically cloud infrastructure, application security, and incident response
• Prior experience successfully interacting with internal and external stakeholders, including non-technical business stakeholders, on matters related to information security
• Prior experience with security assessments
• Prior experience monitoring for information security events
• Prior experience triaging, managing, and responding to information security alerts; SIEM experience a plus
• Prior experience working with standards such as ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, SOC2, PCI DSS, etc.
• Experience performing above responsibilities and developing qualifications typically obtained in 3+ years
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related discipline, or equivalent experience
• Ability to travel internationally occasionally (>10%)
• Willingness to work normal working hours with rotated on call scheduling for off hours/weekends
