Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack

Role Responsibilities: 

• Develop amazing user experiences by building new features and improving existing ones.
• Design, develop, and scale backend systems that will serve users.
• Expert in backend development and expand your development across the stack and to various platforms.
• Support the entire application lifecycle, including concept, design, test, release, and support phases.
• Evaluate solutions to deliver an exceptionally reliable backend system.
• Collaborate across the company to define how our systems should evolve.
• Promote high-quality code, new technologies, and smart architectural design within the company.
• Uphold and advance the security and reliability of our current systems.

• You excel at understanding and solving complex problems. You have immense attention to detail.
• You are a builder with a strong programming background & experience building products from scratch.
• You have a deep desire to understand how things work. You allow details to guide you in designing systems and debugging issues that arise.
• You're open to the best tool for the job. You are excited to learn new technologies.
• You are comfortable working, prototyping and delivering incrementally, adapting based on customer needs and technical challenges, always with the user in mind.
• You can break down tricky topics in writing and in person. We love asynchronous communication by default, and video calls as necessary. 
• You pride yourself on your ability to work as a team player and deliver results in a remote cross-functional and cross-cultural working environment.

Must haves: 

• Technologies we use and you have proficiency in: Next.js, React, Python, CSS, Typescript 
• 5+ years of software development experience, including 3+ years of backend experience.
• Ability to work with US time zones

Bonus points for:

• Experience building web based applications within the security space. 

Important items to note:

• Visa sponsorship is not available
• US salary range $160,000 - $175,000
