Senior Software Security Researcher

Job Description

We’re looking for a talented and motivated security researcher to join the Magic Leap security team. This team secures the entire Magic Leap platform, including all user and device services, applications and more.

As a researcher in the platform security team, you will be leading efforts to secure Magic Leap’s mixed reality platform & operating system, with emphasis on system wide SELinux security policies, services, application jail, sandbox and system call filtering. 

You will conduct security audits on sensitive operating system components and external partners sensitive code, alongside vulnerability research, penetration testing, fuzzing the operating system services and verification of secure service architecture.

Requirements

• Practical experience with OS security, vulnerability exploitation, and hardening techniques
• 3 years of experience in software development
• Practical experience in C programming and script programming
• Practical experience in network communications network security (incl. basic crypto algorithms)
• Knowledge of OS internal concepts
• Relevant B.Sc/M.Sc or strong alternative.
