Sword is hiring a

Senior Talent Acquisition Partner

Aberdeen, United Kingdom

Are you ready to play a key role in propelling organisations on their data driven journey?

Sword builds foundations across platforms, data, and applications and our people have a shared passion for technology and solving complex business challenges for our customers.

Our core values and culture are based on caring about our people, investing in training and career development and building inclusive teams where we are all encouraged to contribute to achieve success. Our people and culture are our highest priority in all we do. Measurable feedback is captured annually to ensure we continue to improve and develop our offering.

If these values are important to you, and you are looking to take the next step in your career with an established and growing company, we’re delighted to share a newly created opportunity to join the Sword team in the role of Senior Talent Acquisition Partner.

With offices in the UK, Europe and the US, we have ambitious growth plans and a newly created opportunity for an experienced talent acquisition professional to join our existing internal TA team on a permanent staff basis.

This role will be hybrid if preferred, or can be based primarily from our Aberdeen city centre office, where you'll experience a great working environment and the opportunity to work alongside an experienced, motivated and talented team.

Here's what the role will look like:

  • Deliver the full recruitment cycle, providing a world-class talent acquisition service, ensuring an excellent experience for candidates and internal customers.
  • Offer a compelling Employee Value Proposition (EVP) to prospective talent across Sword market segments resulting in high quality talent acquisition outcomes to support business growth and meet key metrics and targets.
  • Anticipate, identify and nurture diverse talent pipelines for current and future resource requirements.
  • Partner with Business Unit and Human Resource teams to advise on external candidate market data and information relating to salary and wider benefit packages.
  • Advise and support business decisions on appropriate methodology to identify and engage talent (direct sourcing, employee referral schemes, internal development and external partnerships).
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support team development, knowledge transfer and expertise.
  • Maintain, analyse and translate talent acquisition data, delivering insights to influence stakeholders and drive high quality talent acquisition outcomes.
  • Partner with Business Unit, Human Resource and Marketing teams to support internal talent mapping and career development.
  • Advise and support on initiatives to maintain a compelling Employer Brand and EVP.

At Sword, we are proud of cultivating a respectful workplace that values the contribution of all our people, whatever their background or stage in their career.  We welcome your application should you hold the right core experience, knowledge and your application sufficiently outlines your relevant skills or transferrable skills in this area.  If you believe you're qualified, but don't "check all the boxes", please still submit an application and we will explore your experience further.

Here are the key skills and experience relevant to this role:

You'll bring experience of the full talent acquisition cycle, delivering end to end vacancy and candidate management, right through to welcoming your new colleagues on their first day.

You'll bring experience of successfully juggling multiple recruitment projects and recognise that your priorities can and will change. You'll be adaptable, super organised, great with databases, recruitment software, job boards and LinkedIn.

If you already know your .NET Developers from your Power Platform Consultants then that is great, but if you don't and you're an enthusiastic learner, you'll have the chance to develop an in-depth technical understanding of Data and Information Technology, from a talent acquisition perspective.

What's more important than IT knowledge is that you'll bring extensive talent acquisition experience, either from a recruitment consultancy environment or from an internal talent acquisition role.

Our people are supported and encouraged to develop their career with Sword through their own personal learning and development plan, alongside a competitive salary, pension, private health, wellbeing and insurance schemes, a flexible approach to working, and employee assistance programme.

Sword is committed to maintaining a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunities employer.  All applicants receive equal consideration for employment regardless of age, disability, gender identity or reassignment, marital or civil partner status, pregnancy or maternity status, race, colour, nationality, ethnic or national origin, religion or belief, sex or sexual orientation.

If we can do anything to help make the hiring process more accessible, please let our talent acquisition team know when you apply so we can support any adjustments, or confidentially email uk.talent@sword-group.com
