Senior Talent Acquisition Partner (Technical)

We are building the first digital bank for friends. We are building a new bank with a vision to change people’s relationship with money for good.

Kroo was established in autumn of 2016 and is aiming to be the greatest social bank on the planet. We will deliver a highly intuitive social current account, together with a range of other traditional banking products including a micro-enterprise current account, savings, and loans.

We are a multi-disciplined team of experienced technology, banking, customer experience, marketing, and legal professionals who share a passion for the company’s mission and believe in a collaborative approach to creating the greatest social bank. We are building a diverse team of inquisitive people who want to understand customer needs and behaviour so we can develop innovative products that change people’s lives for good.

We are looking for our first Senior Talent Acquisition Partner to report to our Head of People & Talent. You will drive a direct sourcing strategy to enable Kroo to scale and hire an exceptional and diverse team. You will get the opportunity to work on strategic projects across the breadth of the people experience collaborating with a variety of teams across the company.

What you’ll do:

  • Design and implement a direct sourcing strategy, mainly for (but not limited to) technical roles across Product, Engineering, Design, Data and Security
  • Design, develop and scale our interview processes collaborating with a variety of stakeholders
  • Build a world class candidate experience
  • Review data to understand how we can improve our talent acquisition process, providing reporting to stakeholders along the way
  • Support and lead on elements of Kroo’s employer brand strategy
  • Support wider people initiatives working with our Head of People & Talent
  • Work in an inclusive, collaborative, transparent, non-hierarchical and ego-free culture where your talent is valued

Requirements

You should apply if:

  • You have experience working in technical internal recruitment roles at a fast paced tech companies
  • You have strong sourcing skills using tools like LinkedIn, GitHub, Google etc
  • You care about candidate experience
  • You are comfortable managing a variety of stakeholders with different priorities and needs, and you know how to partner with them to get great results
  • You enjoy interpreting data to provide insights on how we can improve and move faster
  • You like balancing day to day recruiting with working across strategic projects across the breadth of the people experience

Logistics:

We can be flexible with the structure of our interview process if someone's circumstances or timescales require it but our general structure is:

  • 20-30 minute hangout with one of our Head of People & Talent
  • 2 -3 hours of interviews with a variety of our team
  • 30 minutes with one of our Founders / Exec team
