The Challenge

Due to the company’s rapid growth and increased customer demand for our products, OneTrust is looking to hire a Senior Technical Accountant to join the rapidly growing global team.

This is a key role within the Accounting & Finance Function of the company.   The Senior Technical Accountant will be responsible for analyzing and accounting for complex accounting transactions. This person will also assist in month-end close related activities in technical areas, including recording journal entries, reviewing contracts and vendor agreements, applying the company's accounting policies, and performing account reconciliations. 

Your Mission

• Assist with the enhancement of the Company’s internal control structure including development of SOX program; document workstreams and processes; identify risk areas and ensure appropriate controls are in place. Perform reviews to ensure controls are adhered to.
• Own and ensure the integrity of assigned technical accounting areas including elements of ASC 606 revenue recognition and ASC 840 lease accounting.
• Perform technical accounting research and draft related memorandums to document key accounting policies and conclusions.
• Support audit activities by managing deliverables and preparing requested materials.
• Participate in implementing accounting policy and system improvements.
• Prepare technical analysis and ad-hoc reporting.
• Refine and maintain forecasting files by working with internal stakeholders across the company.
• Complete assigned month end tasks with attention to detail and qualitative input.

You are someone who can communicate with all levels of the organization, including external business stakeholders.

Your Experience Includes

• Degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or CPA Track preferred)
• At least 5-8 years of accounting work experience
• Solid skill set in general ledger and subledger accounting
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
• Accuracy and attention to detail are critical
• Advanced Excel skills
• Ability to work independently and with other team members

Extra Awesome

• Experience performing analysis 
• Experience creating journal entries (determining debits and credits) 
• Capable of researching complex transactions and proposing solutions
