We are hiring a Senior Training and Development Manager who will be responsible for creating and updating Blue Jeans end-user training materials. This person’s first task is to build a relationship and manage an Outsource training delivery vendor. This role goes beyond a traditional function – the person must have the ability to act independently in an unstructured environment, operate proactively and have a passion/appreciation for the vision and mission of the company. This position reports to the Sr. Director of Customer Success and is located in Mountain View, CA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and facilitate interactive learning workshops with a focus on achieving outstanding customer adoption of Blue Jeans.
  • Writes literature and materials and creates instructional videos to be used in training events, as general help guides in customer deployments and to demonstrate best practices.
  • Manage relationship with outsource training delivery partner & resell partners including certifying trainers, performance feedback, & reviewing performance metrics
  • Analyze training needs to develop new training programs or modify and improve existing programs.
  • Facilitate & deliver “group” learning workshops
  • Prepare and implement training budget
  • Cross functional collaboration: constant communication with Marketing, Customer Success, Sales, Support and Product team

Skills and Requirements

  • 8+ years’ experience in vendor end-user training
  • Experience in facilitation/training of outsource training service
  • Strong knowledge of instructional design concepts and implementation.
  • Excellent instruction, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Extremely passionate, proactive, and thinks “outside the box”.
  • Works independently and executes on time and within budget.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, quickly changing environment
  • Experience working in fast-paced, dynamic work environments.
  • Professional demeanor
  • BA/BS degree desired or equivalent work experience in training and development
