About The Role

As a Senior Web Engineer at Humane you will partner with teams across the software organization to build a unified experience spanning browser and device. You will also work closely with our design team to execute, craft and create a world class brand and experience for our users.

What You Might Do

  • Play a pivotal role in shaping our product’s direction and drive discussions on transforming how humans and computers interact.
  • Develop a collection of exceptional web experiences, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail and focusing on optimal performance.
  • Work collaboratively with device developers to create complementary experiences that enhance user activities on our devices.
  • Partner with our AI experts to build solutions that leverage web inputs to enhance our AI processes.
  • Continuously enhance and optimize our modern infrastructure, further elevating our already robust setup to increase quality and productivity.

Essential Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience using JavaScript frameworks (React, Ember, Vue, next.js experience is a plus).
  • Strong understanding of web fundamentals, including networking, caching, and authentication.

Preferred Skills

  • Proven experience in architecting and developing large-scale Single Page Applications.
  • Ability to manage complexity in a dynamic application landscape.
  • Ownership mentality, actively seeking design input and proactively driving initiatives rather than relying solely on fully prepared designs.
  • End-to-end delivery experience, taking projects from concept to deployment.
  • Exceptional collaboration and communication skills, fostering an empathetic and cross-functional work environment.

Salary range: $185,000 - $235,000

Compensation & Benefits

  • The salary range for this role is listed above. Final salary offered is based upon multiple factors including individual job-related qualifications, education, experience, knowledge and skills
