Showroom/Community Manager

Overview

As the Showroom and Community Manager, you will lead our Los Angeles retail business, while driving community engagement. You’ll focus primarily on supporting and motivating a team of retail associates, driving sales targets, and owning all of the store’s operations. It will be your task to ensure Casper’s brand ethos is infused into the showroom and that your team is delivering exceptional customer experience. Excitedly, this space (and you!) will help carve the path for Casper’s offline footprint. Part of this includes working with the business development team on in-house and off-site influencer programming. 

What you’ll do:

Manage, support, and coach a team of retail associates

  • Ensure that your team is providing the best customer service possible, by providing such service yourself
  • Help Casper reinvent retail and create unique, optimal retail experiences
  • Take ownership of all in-store processes and operations
  • Manage all in-store marketing events; Liaise with relevant HQ team members on retail marketing projects
  • Be the lead in programming at the showroom, as well as building out ideas for off-sites. 
  • Organize and manage event calendars and project management tools
  • Manage experience production budget, provide forecasting and ROI analysis on all program spending
  • Oversee external production partners, event vendors and talent

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years experience in a managerial, customer-facing role
  • Deep understanding of elevatedcustomer experience
  • Top performer with the track record to prove it
  • Fastidious attention to detail; strong business acumen & entrepreneurial spirit
  • Must have a passion for people development and a knack for motivation
  • Knowledge of retail key performance indicators and benchmark; understanding of financial performance models.
