The Role & You

Working under the direction of the Showroom Manager and Assistant Showroom Manager, the Showroom Key Holder takes on an active leadership role on the sales floor. The Showroom Key Holder acts as an expert on our product and services as well as a role model to the Showroom Guide team while selling on the floor. In addition, the Showroom Key Holder maintains Operational Excellence on the sales floor while motivating, empowering, and coaching the Showroom Guide team to achieve sales goals. Showroom Key Holder will also take on special projects that will ultimately drive the Showroom’s business.

At MIRROR, you will:

  • Function as MOD (“Manager on Duty”) if/when any member of management team is not on the premises
  • Communicate to management team on any issues that arise during the opening/closing, whether or not they are resolved
  • Assist the Showroom management in daily showroom tasks and projects
  • Share knowledge and best practices with staff
  • Maintain keys to the showroom and exert proper care and control over them
  • Responsible for the opening and/or closing of the showroom
  • Maintain opening and closing checklists and supervise Showroom Guide team in ensuring all items are completed daily
  • Work as a cohesive team with all MIRROR staff to ensure efficiency and camaraderie
  • Provide high level customer service and hospitality to Members
  • Maintain the distinct MIRROR aesthetic, appearance, atmosphere and culture
  • Responsible for additional manager system duties
  • Assist with new hire training and ongoing team training
  • Serve as a coach, providing positive and constructive feedback to the Showroom Guide team on a regular basis


The Necessities

  • Bachelor Degree a plus
  • 1-2 years of retail supervisor level experience or comparable experience preferred
  • Able to prioritize and multi-task within a fast-paced environment
  • Initiate tasks and perform duties independently
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Possess excellent customer service skills
  • Thrive in the unknown and is a good problem solver
  • Possess a positive, can-do attitude
  • Lead by example and maintains professionalism at all times
  • Able to work a non-traditional schedule with weekend and holiday availability

The Extras

  • Proficiency with MS applications (Word, Excel, etc) and Apple Products, a plus
