Social Media & Influencer Marketing Director (Remote)

Guild is hiring a Social Media and Influencer Marketing Director. This is an exciting time, as we begin to activate our brand in big ways to encourage our community and grow an opportunity movement. This role will own the creative and digital strategy for growing and engaging Guild’s community of business decision makers and learners on social media.

We're looking for candidates that have a collaborative and player-coach attitude. You have strategy, creative, influencer selection and vetting, campaign delivery, distribution and reporting experience. You are inspired to build an opportunity movement with Guild and execute on a comprehensive strategy to grow channel engagement, brand awareness, and CTR.

As Social Media and Influencer Marketing Director, you will:

  • Build a foundational social channel strategy that guides content and engagement that's unique to each platform and target community.
  • Create and curate content for Guild's brand-level social media channels. Authentically engage our diverse audiences and fuel relevant conversations that reach key influencers and media.
  • Advance big-idea projects, as well as facilitate ongoing publishing and community management.
  • Build cross-functional strategy and processes for posting, promotions, and partnerships on social channels for both social-first and broader campaign initiatives.
  • Own a brand-level calendar, including key achievements, events, and content and/or product releases.
  • Champion a culture and processes for building employee brand ambassadors.
  • Define clear goals and shared critical metrics, and regularly audit performance with an eye for finding opportunities that drive both brand and conversion metrics.
  • Forge and support influencer partnerships on social media to extend our audience reach and authentically engage decision makers and learners, in collaboration with internal executives and teams.
  • Develop and lead a strategy to support Guild's executive social media platforms in partnership with PR and executive communications teams.
  • Develop and execute on a strategy to support Guild's growing partner community in partnership with PR and Customer Teams.
  • Establish guidelines and processes for social media moderation and conversation. Deploy social listening tools.
  • Generate comprehensive reports on overall community sentiment and market trends, and recommend timely opportunities.

You are a strong fit for this role if you:

  • 7+ years experience crafting compelling and memorable social campaigns, grown measurable engagement and buzz on social media for B2B and/or B2C brands, or worked on successful cause marketing and social impact partnerships on social channels.
  • Are driven by creative storytelling and community building – and rolling up your sleeves to get it done.
  • Have a point of view on audience behavior and platforms, informed by experience and data.
  • Bring proven experience in establishing operations, processes, goals, and measurement around brand building on social media.
  • Bring an exceptionally collaborative approach to planning, strategy and support.
  • Understand what drives consumer and business behavior in social media and can formulate thoughtful, creative strategies to help us unlock the full potential of the brand.
  • Are skillful at leading complex projects, meeting deadlines, and keeping cross-functional teams aware and accountable.

We feel passionately about equal pay for equal work, and transparency in compensation is one vehicle to achieve that. Total compensation for this role is market competitive, including a base salary range of $150,000 - $172,500, as well as company stock options. Guild requires COVID-19 vaccines for all employees and guests attending Guild events or entering Guild offices.
