What You'll Do

We are looking for a Social Media Manager to join the Unreal Engine marketing team. In this role, you will focus on daily oversight and management of our social media platforms - currently LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. Working with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, you will define social strategies, create and optimize campaigns and be responsible for identifying and advising on the ever growing social media landscape.

In this role, you will

  • Define and execute a clear strategy for all Unreal Engine social channels, establishing key themes, campaigns and messaging that is consistent with Unreal Engine’s go to market strategy and overarching brand
  • Daily management of all Unreal Engine social channels including posting and scheduling content and engaging with the community
  • Coordinating with the Communications, Content and Marketing teams to execute on the Unreal Engine social media programs in support of broad marketing plans for brand, industries, products and markets
  • Owning, establishing, and driving creative social first initiatives related to Unreal Engine across all social media platforms
  • Optimizing existing Unreal Engine social media channels and establishing best practices, as well as identifying and launching new platforms and trends
  • Assisting and collaborating with creative services to develop innovative and authentic social media content, ensuring buy-in from internal stakeholders with timely execution
  • Managing relationships with social media platforms, external influencer partners and agencies
  • Participating in defining social budgets, strategy and executing paid social activations

Travel may be required

What we're looking for

  • 3-5 years of experience in social media management
  • Ability to work full time in US EST time zone
  • Excellent understanding of social media marketing and proven ability to execute campaigns across marketing initiatives, including experience with multiple social media platforms
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with an attention to detail
  • Data driven mindset, including ability to translate campaign results into actionable insights and optimizations (working with our analyst to develop key KPIs and reporting)
  • A keen understanding and awareness of industry trends and emerging platforms
  • Creative and critical thinking skills
  • Strong self-motivation and work ethic
  • Problem-solving skills
  • A team-focused outlook 
  • Experience (or passion for) in for gaming, technology, media and entertainment or similar
