You don’t know us?

Practichem is disrupting biotech instruments to accelerate cures to the world’s toughest diseases. We create physical devices and the associated software. Like any modern app, our instruments must be intuitive. Arista protein purification instruments are collaborative. People can iterate off each other to speed development of every vaccine and antibody.

The role

As Software Architect, you own the architecture and design that enables Arista biotech lab instruments to work in unison. Your multidisciplinary team contributes cross-functionally to areas including hardware, firmware, deployment, and security.

You have experience as a full stack architect, building secure and scalable applications. You will develop full stack systems for real time instrument data streams, manipulation of measurement data across prototype and production fleets. You will improve services to allow Practichem’s engineering organization to develop, validate, and iterate more quickly.

You consider your work to be more than an economic transaction. You think as an owner, finding purpose in contributing to our goals. You are curious and practical. You will challenge and be challenged. You will create and innovate. While you’ll be handed an intensely clear direction and goal, the implementation decisions will be up to you. Self confident people excel in this environment.
