We are hiring a software design engineer to join our team working on a AAA game. We are seeking talented, experienced developers to build systems for this game. Candidates should expect to work across a range of technologies to fit the needs of the team – and all candidates should be comfortable diving into and working in lower-level engine code in order to debug any problems that might arise during day to day development. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a highly collaborative environment, and will need to have both solid technical and communication skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Math/Computer Science
• Professional programming background in C#, SQL and scripting languages
• Rock solid understanding of software engineering best practices
• Strong communication skills
• Passion for games and a “customer-obsessed” attitude

• Professional C++ experience
• At least 2 years of professional software development experience
• Solid 3D Math skills (linear algebra and trig.)
• Strong grasp of UX design principles
• Experience with building UI applications (MVVM)
• Experience with complex games systems (animation, graphics, game engine, etc.)
• Experience using 3D editors and applications
