 Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC seeks a Software Engineer in Aliso Viejo, CA to be involved in technical design of new hardware and software technology. Requires a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field of foreign equivalent, and two (2) years of experience designing and developing robust systems for next-generation technology and infrastructure services. Prior experience must include two (2) years of debugging and troubleshooting performance and reliability issues for systems operating in real time; designing and developing software to interface with different storage technologies at the driver and application level; designing low-level lifecycle management software; low-level Linux software and driver development; developing testing and benchmarking tools; writing tests and validating technology and products; reading, understanding, and utilizing design schematics for software design and development; creating, reviewing, and maintaining documentation of all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle; and working with programming languages including C/C++ and Python, version-control systems including Git, shell scripting, as well as network programming.
