Eventbrite’s self-service platform enables event organizers to seamlessly plan, promote, and ticket millions of events every year. As our business continues to grow and scale, so do the challenges we’re asked to solve so that we can deliver on our mission of bringing the world together through live experiences.
The Creator Acquisition team is focused on helping people find and get started creating events on Eventbrite. We work closely with Marketing, SEO specialists, and other Product teams to optimize our site for paid and organic search traffic, including building tools for the creation of landing pages, running UI experiments, and supporting several key backend services. The team is composed of front-end engineers, backend engineers, a product manager, a designer, and an engineering manager.
We take an agile and collaborative approach to our work using the scrum framework. We meet daily to share progress and identify impediments, hone our skills through code reviews and pairing, perform demos of the code we ship, and retrospect so that we continue to learn and grow with each other. Eventbrite Engineering is a people-focused Engineering organization: we value working together to solve big problems and we support an active culture of mentorship and inclusion.
As a Software Engineer II on the Creator Acquisition team, you will touch all layers of our code, gain exposure across our platform, and work with stakeholders throughout the company. You might be making CSS changes one day and performing load testing of a remote Python service the next. You’ll rely on your existing full-stack knowledge base, your growth mindset, and your teammates to deliver on ambitious goals. You'll mentor other engineers and contribute to a robust learning culture. You'll be proactive, curious, and accessible.
