Position Summary
DocuSign is seeking a Software Engineering intern to help build a new sample app (see example of our existing sample app) over the course of a 12-week paid internship. You will be a member of a small, focused team that creates content for external software developers looking to integrate DocuSign technologies into their apps and websites. You will create a new sample app to showcase DocuSign functionality using DocuSign APIs, determine which DocuSign product features to include, implement elegant user interactions, and deploy the new app to our servers. This end-to-end development project will enable you to use and grow your skills in a practical real-world application. You will have a dedicated mentor who, along with the team’s developers, QA engineers, product managers, and/or designers, will teach and guide you as you implement the sample app that will ship prior to the end of your internship.

Create, integrate, and consume DocuSign APIs in a modern programing language of your choice.
Implement front-end features consuming DocuSign APIs in JavaScript.
Create a new Sample App showcasing DocuSign APIs to developers.
Write unit tests to ensure the quality of the code.
Write build and deployment scripts to ensure code is working once deployed to servers.
Identify and automate test cases and improve existing integration testing processes.
Demo your project to the Engineering team at the end of your internship.

Basic Qualifications
• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Coding and design experience, preferably in an OO programming language like C#, Java, C++.
• Completed courses focused on Data Structures and Algorithms.
• Must be a junior in standing
• This role is not eligible for candidates requiring CPT/OPT or sponsorship in the future

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with C#, Java, JavaScript, or Ruby.
• Experience with consuming and building RESTful web services.
• Experience with git, continuous integration, and deployment tools.
• Experience in unit testing.
• Excellent communication skills including written skill
