About You

About the Measurement and Attribution Team

You will be working in a team of four to six data scientists, engineers and analysts.

We process large amounts of data to provide insights to the rest of the company and our clients. We are responsible for measuring the uplift (Incrementality) Rokt provides and researching different ways of attribution. We use scrum, doing one week sprints, reviews and retros.

About the Role

You will be responsible for everything that needs automation, coding, engineering, testing, reviewing, deployment and visualisation.

In particular you will be:

  • writing and maintaining program code to meet requirements and technical specifications,
  • evaluating needs through researching, consulting and analysing,
  • identifying technology limitations and deficiencies in existing systems and associated processes, procedures and methods, and
  • working with the rest of the team to elaborate, find and solve issues and increase overall quality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, equivalent experience or demonstrable aptitude
  • 3+ years of relevant commercial software experience
  • A keen interest in the latest software engineering technologies
  • Strong and clear communication skills
  • Technical skills:
    • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS (Cloudformation, ECS, S3)
    • Profound knowledge of Python and SQL
    • Experience with relational databases such as Postgres, MySQL, SQL Server and columnar storage system such as Redshift, Greenplum, Teradata or similar.
    • Experience in building data pipelines and ETL jobs (Spark/EMR/Glue/Airflow a bonus)
    • Knowledge of containerisation technologies such as docker (bonus: Kubernetes)
    • CI/CD such as Buildkite, CircleCI, Bamboo or a similar platform
    • Testing: unit, regression, integration, snapshot, acceptance
    • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.

A big bonus if you have experience with Tableau or other visualisation tools such as Mode Analytics, Looker and/or Apache Superset.
