This Position:
The Software Engineer on the Node Server team will be responsible for building and maintaining key features that are integral to our customers and business. The Server team has an atmosphere that is self-driven, passionate, and creates scalable architecture to support numerous quality features. A successful person in this role will have a flexible attitude combined with an aptitude to learn and share. This person enjoys working in a fast-paced agile environment, cares about their decisions, and is focused on quality driven development. This role is crucial to the functionality of the Sending application as the backbone driving integrations with our backend services.

This position reports to the Director of Engineering.

• Write high quality code that is easy to maintain and test
• Raise issues proactively that might impact delivery commitments
• Research new features and technologies
• Fix production issues and maintain the code as needed

Basic Qualifications:
• BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
• 2 years industry experience in Software Engineering
• Experience with JavaScript, CSS, AJAX, JSON, HTML

Preferred Qualifications:
• Knowledge and experience in high scale, highly available (99.99+) systems
• 2+ years professional experience building complex, scalable applications
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Curiosity and ability to learn new technologies and tool sets
• Experience with NodeJS, Python, or Ruby
• Working knowledge of internet principles including cookies and routing
