Anki is hiring a

Software Engineer, Systems

Independence, United States

Any reader of Bradbury, Asimov, Gibson, Stephenson et al. knows that robots are the future. That’s what we’re building at Anki. We’re dedicated to solving the real, brand-new problems in consumer robotics, making the user experience as natural and intuitive as turning on a light.

We’ve started by connecting robots to those tiny supercomputers everyone carries around in their pocket, making it easy for people to have fun with their robo-buddies. Who knows how far we can take it? You will, if you come build robots with us.

So make your mark on the future of robotics by working someplace where you can have a genuine impact. You’ll lay hands on the most sophisticated uses of artificial intelligence in any consumer product today—and improve them. You’ll work on projects that you can point at in stores and tell people “I helped build that” and it’ll make you feel great.

And that’s not all we have to offer.  You will enjoy all the good parts of a startup (stock options, a chance to create process & culture from the get-go) with all the great parts of a well-funded company (scenic, central office space, competitive salaries & benefits, free food).

We’re building the future of entertainment and we need your help to do it well.

We are always on the lookout for talented software engineers to join our team. Anki is building innovative products with creative games and sophisticated AI, and as our Systems Engineer, you will be creating and improving the core functionality that drives our robotic toys and mobile apps. Working with designers, artists, and other software engineers to build the structures that make everything possible.
