About the job
At Mobiquity we try to push the software boundaries and test the technical limits. Digital engagement means that our customers continuously challenge us to create ever-evolving software solutions. A Security Engineer (SE) is a specialized engineer providing expert opinions and guidance for all things related to the secure design, development, and operation of solutions created by Mobiquity teams, including how these security measures support the demands of regulations imposed on solutions in certain jurisdictions.
The SE creates and drives the security requirements for design, architecture, development, testing and system administration by establishing best practices for the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and driving adherence to those best practices through the employment of tools, systems, services, and processes.
The SE performs research into market requirements, client needs, and regulatory bodies and defines the appropriate security controls and measures needed to support these interests.
Finally, the SE conducts continuous training, certification, workshops, and risk analysis to ensure all invested parties stay up-to-date with the ever-changing landscape of security and compliance.
