Overview

Casper is looking for a Sourcing Manager to be one of the founding members for our Operations team in our new Berlin headquarters.  As the Sourcing Manager you will manage our supplier base, starting with selecting partners for new products in new markets, all the way through to continued relationship management and cost analysis.

This will be a great opportunity to help shape the operations of Casper EU and will provide room for growth as we scale our business internationally.  

Responsibilities:

  • Manage supplier base including supplier selection, relationship management and cost of goods sold
  • Create and optimize sourcing processes and procedures
  • Perform in depth cost scenario and benchmarking analysis for multiple products
  • Work closely with internal partners, including but not limited to Quality, Warehousing, Logistics, Product and Customer Experience teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics or business required- MBA preferred
  • 5+ years as a sourcing or procurement manager, preferably in a Consumer Goods company
  • Strong Project Management skills required, ability to manage multiple projects at any given time
  • Strong experience in relationship management with 3rd party service providers
  • Strong negotiation skills required
  • Excited about working in a fast paced, high-growth environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluent in English and German
  • Must love sleep!
