The Role:

We're looking for a new SQL DBA to join our multi-discipline technology team. Working alongside IT, our internal proprietary CRM team, and our externally-facing Product team, you'll be a key driver in developing our data environment.

This role will include:

  • Database and System administration support for SQL server versions up to SQL 2016
  • Managing complex reporting environments leveraging multiple SSRS servers and replication
  • Tuning SQL Query optimisation
  • Ensure databases are operating efficiently and at maximum performance
  • Support development activities
  • Extensive experience of SQL Server; Versions 2012 to 2016
  • Administration of SQL server Replication
  • Administration of SQL server High Availability
  • Proficient in key SQL server performance and monitoring tools (Execution Plan, Profiler, DMVs)
  • Windows Server 2008R2 / Windows Server 2012R2 administration knowledge
  • Performance optimisation (SQL Server / Windows Server)
  • Experience of SQL database migrations
  • SQL Server build and configuration experience
  • Proven know-how of database server management (SQL Server)
  • Experience of implementing backup procedures
  • Experience of database replication
  • Trouble shooting SQL Server database related issues
  • Query Optimisation
  • Database mirroring
