We are hiring a Sr. Solutions Strategist for our Broker business unit who will cultivate strategic relationships with key broker clients, demonstrate our core domain expertise of Commercial Real Estate Leasing technologies, and deliver the value of VTS as the industry-leading leasing platform. Internally, you’ll work closely with the Inside Sales and Account Management teams to acquire, retain, and expand the biggest brokerage firms in the industry. In the field, you’ll be an expert on the broker persona and will understand their business problems and design solutions to address them.

With your deep technical breadth and solutions expertise in the Commercial Real Estate space, you will be on the front lines with our clients as they make the decision to implement VTS. Your industry experience will give you a deep understanding of the customer's business needs and allow you to align those needs with our capabilities. In their eyes, you’ll be the technical hero and expert trusted advisor for all things related to being a CRE broker.

General Objectives of this Role:

  • Sales Support - Provide support to the sales team with regards to integrations, Business Process Optimization (BPO), technical architecture, and general industry knowledge.
  • Thought Leadership - Become the go-to expert for CRE brokers.
  • Strategy - Lead the effort around value creation for the client: How do we solve for their business problems; how does this solution fit within their CRE ecosystem; and how do we enhance their ability to execute within that ecosystem
  • CIO Community - Develop a strong network of influence within the CIO community and IT departments at all the large CRE brokerage firms
  • Technical Product Liaison to Sales - Work with the product team to bring new products to market; this includes training, market positioning, competitive positioning, sales/discovery process




  • Master the VTS broker and tenant rep platforms to become the expert-level technical resource for the inside sales and account management team
  • Conduct regular demonstrations of VTS’ broker and tenant rep specific technologies and products with both technical and non-technical prospects
  • Scope evaluations and lead prospects through successful technical evaluations and proof-of-concepts
  • Work closely with internal product teams, product engineering, professional services, support, and sales to ensure a successful customer experience
  • Develop and maintain content that enables VTS to sell and support our leasing and asset management platform at scale
  • Contribute to building best practices, repeatable methodologies, and tools in sales and engineering
  • Demonstrate leadership and thought leadership in the CRE space by producing white papers, webinars, and speaking at conferences
  • Expected travel 50%


  • 5+ years of experience relevant to this position including experience consulting/Sales Engineer experience.
  • Product (functional) expertise relevant to CRE at a broker or landlord (Implementation or Sales)
  • Creative mind with problem solving approach to challenges
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both direct and indirect
  • Ability to decompose large complex problems into manageable pieces allowing communication on both business and technical levels
  • Deep knowledge of the CRE tech Industry
  • Excellent presentation skills and experience presenting to C-level audiences focusing on demonstrating the business value of solutions rather than technical detail
