In this role, you will collaborate closely with the VP, Marketing & Brand to lead Lucid's marketing efforts in the North America region. The Sr. Director, Marketing North America will develop and oversee the execution of strategic marketing initiatives that drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth. They will lead a talented team and collaborates closely with cross-functional partners to achieve Marketing business objectives.


The role:

  • Develops and implements a comprehensive North America Marketing strategy, objectives, guidelines and KPIs for North America in accordance with global guidelines that aligns with Lucid's overall business and global Marketing goals and objectives
  • Oversees the development of North America marketing plans and is responsible to guide marketing efforts across all key regions within the US and Canada, ensuring alignment with the global marketing strategy while accounting for regional nuances
  • Oversees media & press relations to build and maintain a positive brand image
  • Oversees the development or adaptation of (global)marketing campaigns in North America across various channels, including digital, social media, content marketing, and events and accounts for their execution (including across markets/regions)
  • Oversees the development of content strategies in North America that resonate with Lucid's target audience and align with brand messaging
  • Defines North America marketing budget need, gets it approved and plans, directs and coordinates the marketing budgets in accordance with overall organizational and global Marketing goals
  • Continuously “listens" to the trends of the North American market and directs market research efforts of the region accordingly to derive implications
  • Creates and maintains a solid network of strategic partnerships in North America
  • Ensures that marketing initiatives support broader business and Marketing objectives by collaborating closely with the VP Marketing & Brand and other departments, including sales, product development, and customer experience
  • Builds and leads a high-performing North American marketing team, fostering a creative and collaborative work environment
  • Plans and organizes North American marketing functions and operations (product development, branding, communications etc.), and ensures they project the company’s unique “voice”

Requirements:

  • 15+ years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 12 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 8 years experience
  • A can-do attitude with excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience managing creative teams in the launch of luxury or technology-focused products
  • Efficiency in a deadline-driven environment with multiple concurrent assignments
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment
  • A passion for and working knowledge of automobiles and EVs

Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.
·       California (Bay Area) - $223,000-$319,000

Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs.  (Cash or equity incentive awards, if any, will depend on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and company performance.)
